Why not cycle along the gorgeous Camel Trail? Bikes are aailable for hire in Padstow and Wadebridge.

Then maybe pop in to the John Betjeman centre in Wadebridge.  Or you can visit Betjeman’s grave at the picturesque St Enedoc church in the dunes near Rock. Take the ferry from Padstow across the River Camel.

Or further afield ...

Tintagel Caste

Tate Gallery St Ives

Many fine National Trust houses including Trerice, Lanhydrock & Trellisick.

See under the sea too at Blue Reef Aquarium. And Lappa Valley Railway, a great place for the children.

How about a meal out?

Rick Stein’s restaurants in nearby Padstow or The Cornish Arms in St Merryn.

But then as you have both a delightful sandy beach and acres of rock-pools to explore, all within two minutes walk, why not just wander down to the sea?  You can hire boards and wetsuits at the Beach Cafe if you fancy a spot of bodyboarding.

Maybe a bonfire or barby on Trevone beach in the evening?

Enjoy!
